What if your trip doesn’t go as planned?
With the travel cancellation insurance, you can relax knowing you’re financially covered – if the unexpected happens before your stay. Whether you need to delay, cancel, or cut your visit short, cancellation fees can be a worry – but our travel insurance takes care of them for you. Choose between Hotel Storno Plus and Hotel Storno Premium, with all expenses handled by the Europäische Reiseversicherung, so you can focus on enjoying your journey with peace of mind.
How do I get to Schlosshotel Kitzbühel?
By car, train (the Kitzbühel station is just 10 minutes away), or plane. If you like, we’ll be happy to arrange a transfer for you; just let us know.
Where can I park at Schlosshotel Kitzbühel?
Directly in the Schlosshotel garage (€15.00 per day) – no parking acrobatics required.
Can I charge my electric car on site?
The underground garage features 10 charging stations. As soon as you arrive, we’ll recharge your car – and you can recharge from the day-to-day.
When can I check in?
From 3 p.m. Earlier is fine if the room is already free.
Do I get to choose from various pillow types?
Yes. Soft, firm, with neck support, or “just like at home” – we take care of your sleep. Perfect for side sleepers, those who love extra neck support, or anyone who doesn’t want to settle for standard pillows.
Are there rooms with connecting doors?
Yes, in selected categories – ideal for families or groups of friends. Please specify when booking.
Until what time is breakfast served?
Until 11 a.m. Plenty of time to enjoy a second coffee (or even a third!).
What’s included in half board?
A breakfast that fulfils every wish, and an evening meal that provides plenty of pleasure. Served at the STREIF hotel restaurant.
Are vegetarian or vegan options available?
Certainly. Just let us know your preferences – we create dishes inspired by your choices, not mere substitutes.
When is the spa open?
- Pool and gym: daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Sauna: daily from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.
- Spa reception and treatments: from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
What should I bring for my spa visit?
Nothing at all. Everything you need – including time to unwind – is already here.
Do I need to book treatments in advance?
Not necessarily. If you fancy a treatment on the spur of the moment, we’ll do our best to make it happen. At Momentum Spa, fulfilling your wishes is our priority.
Are children allowed in the spa?
Yes, during Family Spa hours (12 noon to 3 p.m.), splashing in the indoor pool is encouraged. Children may use the sauna from the age of 16 and may enjoy the textile sauna next to the pool at any age when accompanied by an adult.
How do I reach the slopes?
It’s just a short shuttle ride. No crowds, no detours – straight out of the hotel and onto the slope.
Can I buy ski passes at the hotel?
Yes, at the official rates of the cable cars – ideal to avoid the queues at the valley station.
Is there a ski storage room?
Yes. Each room has its own locker with a boot dryer, accessible with your room key.
Are there golf courses nearby?
Yes – and the best one is right on our doorstep: the Schlosshotel’s 9-hole course. Well-maintained, scenic, and perfect for all skill levels. Plus, there are 45 more holes around Kitzbühel, and 55 golf courses within an hour’s drive.
Can tee times be booked through the hotel?
Of course. Just give the Pro Shop a call.
Can my dog stay in the room?
Absolutely! In selected rooms and suites, we prepare everything for your four-legged friend. Please let us know when booking that you’ll be travelling with your pup.

Can my dog join me in the restaurant?
Your dog is welcome in the à la carte restaurant DAS Kaps and at the bar. Please note: leashes are required throughout the hotel.
Is there a vet in Kitzbühel in case my dog needs help?
Yes – there are several. Whether it’s a paw problem or a sudden tummy upset, our Guest Relations team knows reliable vets nearby and will happily give you the contact details.

Day spa? Of course. Simply book, step inside, and unwind – everyday life will slip away for a little while.
How can I pay?
We accept American Express, Diners, Mastercard, Visa, EC card – and cash, of course. Whatever suits you best.
Can I celebrate a birthday, wedding, or other event at the hotel?
Of course. Special events deserve a truly special setting.
How early should I book?
The earlier, the better. It makes everything far more relaxed. Our events team will be with you every step of the way.
Is there a pharmacy nearby?
Yes, right in the centre of Kitzbühel, about a 5-minute drive away. Our Guest Relations team will happily provide all the details, including opening hours.
What if I need medical help?
No problem. Kitzbühel has general practitioners and specialists. The Guest Relations team can take care of everything – from providing phone numbers to arranging a taxi to the practice.
Is smoking allowed?
No. Schlosshotel is entirely non-smoking – that includes e-cigarettes and all room balconies. Smoking is only allowed on the bar terrace.
