Meals are just the way children like them: familiar, simple, and mindful of individual needs. And for those who sleep in the same room, there’s a cosy extra bed or crib – never a makeshift solution, always part of the plan. The Momentum Spa? It even welcomes little guests, offering mini-massages, a relaxed atmosphere, and gentle products. For parents, parent-child treatments are available.

Hi there! Or “Griass di!” as we say here in Tyrol. My name’s Murmel.
Yep, I’m a marmot – but not just any marmot. I’m the castle marmot! Now, you’re probably wondering how a marmot from the mountains ended up at a castle hotel like Schlosshotel. Do you want to hear my story? I can’t wait to tell you it!
My marmot family lives in the Alpine Flower Garden on Mt Kitzbüheler Horn. Have you ever been there? If not, you really should – it’s one of the most beautiful places ever! I have five brothers and sisters: Mila, Max, Molly, Moritz, and Mimi.
Mimi’s the smallest, but her whistle is so loud, it makes you cover your ears! Moritz jumps the farthest and Molly collects the prettiest sparkly stones from all over Mt Geissstein. Then there’s Max: he’s the hungriest of us all and is always running around, following his nose. Mila is the oldest of us six, and sometimes she acts like she’s the boss of everyone. I find it quite annoying.
Cold air, rosy cheeks, snowy adventures: winter brings the perfect mix of activity and cosy moments. Sledging, snowman competitions, or a stroll around the Christmas market. And when fingers start to tingle, a hot chocolate is waiting at the Schlosshotel bar. For parents? Relaxed children. Exactly as planned.
Once the jackets stay packed away, little guests can’t wait to head outside. Schlosshotel becomes a holiday paradise, the grounds an adventure playground. Water games, walks, or “what shapes do you see in the clouds?” games on the meadow – and finally, the joy of running barefoot through the garden. Summer? Belongs to the children here, and you’ll notice it immediately.
