Friday features the sprints, Saturday brings the pursuit, and Sunday rounds off the event with the relays. And every time, the same miracle: twenty thousand people suddenly fall completely silent the moment the world’s elite enter the shooting range. Five shots in the prone position, five shots in the standing position, a 150-metre penalty lap for each miss. After that, the cheering breaks out.
